We are Woodstockers who believe tearing down our library would be a mistake, as indicated by 71 percent of respondents to the trustees’ recent survey.

We wish to renovate and upgrade the existing building, bringing it to new condition and adding additional space consistent with the Woodstock community’s stated desire for a greener building that preserves the character and fits into our town.

On this website we present several options for renovation and addition, and we support a process that includes as many local builders, architects and artists as possible, perhaps even a true community build.

When meetings become possible again, we’ll be holding a series of events to encourage a public dialogue and to promote these goals of a better library for the Woodstock community.
