2021 Environmental Testing at the Library

At their meeting of January 21, 2021, the Board of Trustees approved two agreements:

1. Agreement with Spectrum Environmental Associates, Inc., to perform asbestos, lead and mold testing of the library facilities, at an estimated cost of $6,300 to $7,900.
   
   
2. Agreement with Kaaterskill Associates to perform structural evaluation and FEMA flood certification, at a probable cost of $8,500.

John Ludwig submitted Freedom of Information Law requests for the results of this work, on March 18, April 28 and May 6. As of May 14, the Library District is denying public access to the structural information.
